This car belonged to me for about 6 years in which time I fitted a 2JZ and made custom twin turbo manifolds and exhaust for it. I lost interest and sold it to a mate who never did anything to it. He then sold it to a random who sold it to another mate who has bought it back to me to finish so he can use it as a daily driver. The engine is an Aristo 2JZ mated to a JZX100 chaser 1JZ auto. The turbos are VF46 subaru turbos on steampipe manifolds, one high and one low. The exhaust is twin 2.5" SS merging into a 3" single VLT catback. Intercooler is a 600x300x100mm with SS piping. Radiator is a modified V8 unit with twin subaru thermo fans. The car has been off the road since 2000. It was resprayed in about 1997. This pic is from late 2004 when I had it. The manifolds. Front mount. Grill on. Exhaust. Engine in and turbos on. Starting to make piping. Hot side piping made. Engine bay plumbing all done, wiring in progress. The car also has a 3.5:1 9" diff, new bushings and is getting 330mm rotors and PBR callipers. Have to space the Simmons out a little to clear the front brakes. We also fitted a VS booster and master cylinder. The aim of the car is a 10sec daily. My mate who owns it now already has an 11.3 sec 500rwhp 2JZ Chaser that his Mrs drives so this will be his toy. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yes I made it all, I do conversions and performance stuff for a job. Not trying to self promote or anything, this is just show and tell. Another mate and I are building this. VH SL/X, 98k km, one former owner. Now has this fitted. VH45DE with TO4Z, custom manifolds(and everything else). The early commodores are great for engine swaps, heaps of room, light, lots of chassis parts available. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
