Just gettin some quotes for insurance, had three so far. Ouch. Lowest was $11,00 Highest was over $1700. They've all got their pros and cons, so not sure who i'll go with yet. The companies that quoted were Clic, Clubauto and NAC. Heavily modified car, and a 'few' speeding tickets to my name... Anyone else I should try?

Hmmm, they quoted me over $1600, but I'm not sure I like some of their t&c's. There is an extra excess for the wheels and paint - both of which have very low pay outs. Apparently a custom paint job is only worth $3000! They also won't insure you for an agreed value either.

My excess is $900 and theft is $2000. Same excess for mags and windscreen. Who did your valuation and how much was that? Were you happy with it?

I went through a broker with Vero and mine was full cover agreed replacement value of $35k and around $1,500 per month, I'm over 25 though If you can get all your family together and go through one broker on the same policy you should be able to lump the VL in with the rest and not be stung too much for it
