we should organise a cruise to go out west/somewhere with different/windy roads without a huge number of people on the road.
We could meet somewhere in Western Sydney and head out west somewhere or even to wisemans ferry or something would be cool - something to split up the city driving, theres a cool spot near Blackheath called Megalong Valley if anyones ever been there, its got lots and lots of windy roads which descends down into a valley which comes out into a big open/nice farming area. Also Jenolan caves would also be a good run or even take the drive out to Mount Panorama - or somewhere out near windsor and that area
what are other peoples thoughts?

08-08-10, 22:27 GMT+10#10 i'm not meaning on the gong cruise - i got something on at bathurst that weekend anyway, i dont wanna take ur cruise away from u guys go as originally planned and dont change anything - but im interested in sussing out a cruise for later in the year (maybe november or somewhere around then) my mate went on a pulsar cruise out to wisemens ferry and he said it was good fun through the twisty sections etc cruising in a long line of cars taking corners fast etc
even on cruise for chairty pulling into a servo going down a hill into a round about in a long line of VLs made it a lot more enjoyable than the straight up highway driving - i think if we get people together going to megalong valley would be the go as u have the regular sort of cruise roads for e.g M4, then into great western highway which is fairly twisty but still a highway and mainly too lanes and then into the tight twisting roads of megalong valley and then down into the 100km zones of farms with not many people there and no worries for cops once u get off the great western highway
heres a video of some guy on a bike going through the windies near megalong valley - should give you guys some idea http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8qMMNncUis

09-08-10, 18:07 GMT+10#16 yeah - im not tryna change the gong cruise - go for it but i just got some good ideas for other cruises and hopefully we can actually get some good numbers. I was thinking maybe take bells line of road out to lithgow then back through the mountains on the way home - that'd also be a pretty awesome cruise but yeah we can work it all out later but something different would be good
have fun at the cruise in a couple of weeks ill be going around mount panorama in my VL in a sprint event held by the car club out there that day

09-08-10, 19:45 GMT+10#20 Hey peolpe, spoken to alot if othet people today and said were sticking with the gong, we are first meeting up silvania mcas at 8 then leaving at 9.30 from there we go thru bundeena natio stoping off at the lookout. From there we will go along the coastal drive then stopping at d lighthouse at gong, depending on the time we arrive there, they have suggested that we might drive to kiama but like i said depending, there will be other commodores aswell as an evo club that have asked to hit it off with us.... So far from wat i have seen theres only 6 of us so far from d vl sides
