hello people i wont to dyno tune my vl turbo before i get rego for it but just wonted to know if i got the car dyno tuned and then for rwc took like the cooler xf tb move afm back to factory spot factory vlt cross over pipe? would this detune the car? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

why wouldnt you just leave it standard, untill after rwc and rego? :?

if you have an airbox setup than a cooler should pass roady, but the hole in the skirt wont, and if you a running a standard ecu they wont be able to tune it without a nistune (other than play with afm, timing, and fuel pressure if you got an adjustable reg) so its not really going to affect it if you swap and change a few things.

okay but my mate got his vl tuned at 6psi his making 174.8rwkw with factory injectors,fuel reg,fuel pump,ect,factory ecu just fmic and its manual???

This figure is ridiculous. You don't pick up that much power from just a cooler and no extra boost. Also, without a new/modified ECU there is very little that can be 'tuned' on a VL.

My car got defected for cooler and **** and passed with flying colours even with a big hole for cooler piping... might be different in some states because ive never heard of anyone getting nocked back for cutting holes in the parcel shelf for speakers....

Off topic, but in VIC. this statement that you have made for cutting parcel shelf. This will not pass roadworthy here. But some may not know this and dont look! I know that my rwc bloke where i go always looks here and if he see's that its cut, he will not pass the car until you either weld a plate right across covering the holes, or screw it there as long as you cant see it.

Ive told you the standard ecu cant be tune and a exhaust and koolers not going to get you 175rwkw on stock boost. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
