Not sure if any of you guys are interested in this kind of thing, but there is a martial arts tournament coming up on August 15th at Carrara indoor sports stadium. Competitors come from all around Australia, this is the 4th Queensland round. There is a cafe downstairs that serves alchohol and food, and it's good watching, especially some of the higher up divisions. Some of the styles represented are tae kwan do, kyokushin (karate), mauy thai and freestyle kickboxing, sei do kan, and kenshinkan (whom I am representing) there are a few categories, weapons displays, point fighting, continuous fighting etc There are stalls from fight world as well, so you can pick up fitness/training/fighting equipment, as well as info from the clubs fighting on the day.
