Automatic & Manual Diffs, Are they different?

Hey people this is gunna sound like a stupid question but are the diff centres of just diff in general the same in a auto and manual vl, And what are the differences need to know ASAP..... doing brake converstion tomorrow!!! cheers. edit: these are completely stock vl's non-turbo, 1 auto 1 manual...

As far as i know they are the same, thats why autos and manuals have different tail shafts! Anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong??

they will both be a 3.45:1 ratio

you putting new axle seals in? if not swap the axles aswell,

new axel's with disc breaks instead of drum got bearings and seals on new axels
