hey all i have just put an injected v8 into my vl. i am wondering why my brakes are hard to push it sort of feels like there not going to work but they do and they sort of pull up a bit faster[maybe cause i feel like i have to put more pressure onto the pedal to make it feel like its working lol]. i cant remember if they were like this when it was a turbo 6. any things i can look over?

^ as above, and with the motor running, check that there's no hissing coming from near the booster (which would indicate a vacuum leak). maybe get someone to pump the brake pedal up and down and listen out again for hissing. With engine off, pump up the pedal a few times then hold it down, while your holding it down, turn the engine on. If the pedal drops a little bit when you turn the engine on, then your brake booster system is fine. If it doesn't drop, that would also indicate a vacuum leak betwen the intake manifold and booster.
