Just wondering if anyone knows what the factory Decibel output of the rb20e was?
Both my exhausts rusted out so i threw in a new turboflow exhaust kit with a tip on the rear for looks, and im getting heat from the police for it being to loud. The legal limit is 95 and i come in at 92 so its legal, but they wont let me off it. Want to try to go to the other part of the law and see if it comes close to the factory output. Thanks

oh bugger,hard luck man,cant help ya there but once they have it in for you you are screwed,best thing to do is get dp reading and get print out and keep it in ya glove box,show em its legal each time,if they wana keep up the issue tell em to do a test at their expense??

Yeah its a bitch, second time iv had the ticket from the same officer for the same reason and we both in the same cars! Yeah, i sent in my db reading and still gotta pay the money and take 25 demerits. I am screwed lol

LOL i did get a wof. thats how i know its legal lol, thats also when i ran into my brake issues, but thats fixed now. yeah i sent a couple of letters and proof. theyre just being pricks and not letting me off it lol
haha first time he pulled me over in bp, second time in paknsav carpark after following me through twn for about a km. lol my exhaust is illegal cos he can hear it over his radio lol

Only way I see out of it is get it certed but you have to ask yourself is it worth it ? but on the other hand if you get another ticket it may well be worth the cost of a cert

i got picked on hard out all the time,yea i was a menace back then and kinda had it coming,but once they had me marked that was it,i changed plates and all sorts but they kept pulling me up.that had twin 4 inch full exhaust,ah back in the day eh...
legal limit is 93db or 95db if you get the exhaust certed was going to cost me an extra $100 to cert the exhaust but i managed to get mine down to 92.5db
Haha its bright yellow lol and no, im telling the hole story. I dont go out to the drags at all, its lost the actual drag part down here, and i dont generally go cruizing or anything. Yeah might have to cert it after all, its just this one officer thats marked me. LOL love to throw a turbo on it but a) no idea what i gotta do and b) id rather drop a rb30e in and turbo that xD
