Hey guys, I recently installed a JL audio sound system. I have: JVC kd-avx2 dvd player deck JL Audio G4500 4 channel amp powering: JL Audio C2-600 splits in the front JL Audio C2-600x coaxials in the rear JL Audio G1700 monoblock powering JL Audio W3V3 sub I am so far happy with the amps, sub and coaxials. The front splits sound a bit too sharp, as if they have way to much treble. So i am wondering if it is just the speaker itself or maybe settings on the deck or amp, does anyone have any advice? Otherwise can anyone point me in the direction of some good splits ? I don't want to spend over $450. And please don't say alpine type R I will chuck some pics up tomorrow hopefully

Yeah buy some Alpine type R, why not? If you don't want to use Alpine type R. I suppose next best thing you could go would be hertz or focal. lol

I just think alpine are a bit over rated? The rest of my JL audio system kills my mates alpine type R systems but I'm just not happy with the splits. They are too high pitched
