hows it going guys new to the site just thought id chuck some photos up of the vl just in the middle of putting it back together only things i need is a new oil pump water pump and a nice new exaust manafold then should be ready for the street Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

duno if its just me i cant see your pics mate. You bought nice car there man,i looked at buying that also when it was on trade me at the same time as the one i bought. only thing that put me off was the motor was in the boot,lol.and i really was after the one i got. be good to see it on the road soon.

yea it was nigels when i got it his mum was in tears about it leaving hahah ---------- Post added 06-07-10 at 10:22 ---------- hey guys having trouble finding a water pump and oil pump . . thats the only thing im missing before its sent of to the engine builder any one know where i can find them? i have found a couple oil pumps but there not cheap just bought some heavy duty valve springs, new belts, new gaskets and bearings so hopefully of to the engine builders with in the next couple weeks if all goes to plan

I know repco do water pumps so at a guess they would also do oil pumps too ?

dont all rb motor water pumps fit like rb20det 25det could be wrong tho but yea best bet would be repco.

got the water pump lined up but no luck with the oil pump at repco . . any other ideas?

use a gtr n1 oil pump.. when i have the cash thats what ill be running.. nice car you got there. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Just go standard replacement for the oil pump, N1 Gtr oil pmps hug price ad really only needed for huge horsepower

yea the N1 Gtr oil pump goes for $700 on trademe then it says you need a crank collar for $150 aswell
