hey all, my vl's front left wheel has been on a fair camber ever since i got the front lowered (professionally) my front right is fine and doesnt sit on a camber at all. It didnt really bother me when i was running ceptors but i bought some 19's nopw it pulls to the left. i also got a wheel alignment not long ago. what do you think it could be? worn bushes? struts ?
cheers

Strut tops, get adjustable tops such as k-mac, whiteline etc...

That won't fix it because there an insert shock u have to do strut bendes or get adjustable tops to fix that problem

Mate i had a problem that is quite the same i put some coilovers in mine and did every bush in the car and it fixed the problem. But i also found that the left hand strut was bent up the top and i had never hit a cutter, so that could of been the problem and i would suggest getting the Koni adjustables as i have them and they are great. But your problem could also just be the caster bushes that need replacing as they could be worn and the adjustable tops are a good thing as well.

vl_twagon is more on the money. Unless you get a complete new assembly just throwing in some Koni inserts won't change anything to do with camber

Ya but if you read it if he has a bent strut then he will have to replace the whole strut anyway so the only thing to do is to buy some coil overs or settle for some new struts that are not as good but it could be anything i would have someone with knowledge in suspension to look at it.

15-07-11, 18:47 GMT+10#10 I have the same problem, I have a heap of camber on the drivers side, but none on the passenger side.
Car has always handled like a pig and bump steers like crazy, but just recently noticed that it was out and it has been getting worse the more I drive it.
I got a wheel alignment done and didn't help at all, the guy said he had a look but would have to take it to a suspension place.
Ive pulled the wheels off and had a good look all bushes look ok and control arms and dont appear to be bent, so im thinking it has something to do with the struts.
Just to clarify todoom was your actual strut itself bent or was it the insert?

16-07-11, 12:01 GMT+10#12 FFS, pull the strut out and CHECK if it.s bent. If so, replace it while installing adjustable strut tops. None of this "it's definitely a bent strut man".
