alternator should have 3 wires going to it, one red from the battery and a plug with two wires, brown wire to the battery dash light and a white wire to the battery with a 30amp fusabile link near the battery. the starter motor will have one thick wire from the battery (positive) to starter motor and a violet wire to the solieniod (positive).
