How much power has it got? I read the advert but didn't see a figure.
Who did the tuning and building of the motor? How long ago was the motor built?
Maybe let your mate know that power figures and more details on the engine would be great and more informative for people looking to buy one of these cars. Most people aren't interested if its got dvd screens and 32mm sway bar bushes or a whiteline strut brace. They are more concerned with the longevity and build quality of the engine and the external look of the car eg trim all intact, panel lines equal and lining up etc.
I know from experience that the more info a seller can give on a car like this, and the more top workshops that can backup the quality after working on it, the more likely a sale will be. These sorts of high performance vlt's are getting harder to sell these days.
Has this been down the quarter mile?
Get him to pile the information onto the for sale advert. There are so many vlt's for sale over east, that alot of people are turning to them to buy from as they are so common over there and so much more bang for your buck than here in WA in alot of cases.

You would be surprised. The advert has to take their interest firstly.
I guess it works both ways, "many people will ask questions if they are keen to buy", but also, "many sellers will put as much info as possible to help with sale if they are wanted it sold asap". This saves little questions backwards and forwards which could be answered by being listed in the advert.
I still have a vested interest in VL's after owning them for 15 years. Even though I just sold my VL, I still keep a keen eye incase I want to pursue another project.
One of my good friends has just purchased a VL Calais and has put a deposit down on a turbo kit already, and he has his eyes set on getting some decent power out of his VL. So Im always keen to know about VL's and VLT's for sale whether its for my interest or for my friends.
I know that if I was keen to buy a VLT and somebody couldn't or didn't put down all the information straight up, then that would go to the bottom of the list until all the other potential ones had been explored......Simple! Obviously though, if its not tuned and/or small power figure revealed in the advert plus any other details, then would save many people bothering the owner also!
So, as it stands, my questions still apply as per my original post. Im not going to ring the owner as at this point I would be wasting his time as Im not a keen buyer at this point. More information would be helpful though.

Actually, No! Just a friendly previous VL owner. Looking at it from both buyer and seller perspective. Because I have been a buyer and seller many times over the last 15 years of both stock and high powered VLTs.
Thanks for asking though champ.

HoldenOn, thank you for posting something constructive and actually adding something to the thread, but as for the rest of yers, as the old saying goes, "If you can't say anything nice, just shut your hole and save someone else the trouble of having to delete it."
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
