As it states people
New owner of vlgod George Haramis GH 747 finally today got the car to go straight today after six tyre frying runs and coming off it, he finally got the car to hook up and go straight to pull all five gears to reel in an 8.18 @ 166mph with still some power left in it, in which george still needs to get used to first, and im sure everybody knows that this car aint for the faint hearted.
Well done George, congrats
Also today VLBOSS was out being driven by Anthony Maatouk which still to has its traction issues, and after Four passes of 8.57, 8.56, 8.52 and also a 8.50 at 166mph!!!!! and finally that 8.4 @ 159mph with also a little bit more power to go it, but the more power Anthony put in it, it jus tyre fryed towards the centre of the track, although it still isnt the quickest its at second best and owner Peter Maatouk is very happy with that at the moment
Well done Anthony, Congrats Peter
Videos will hopefully be up soon, dont hassle me for them because Peter Maatouk has them hahahaha
well done gh747 certainly coming to grips with the car as the meets go by.
also well done to vlboss slowly chiseling away the times as well.
top effort boys.
very consistant times there well done to both..
the old vlgod would seriously have to be the most deserving vl of 7sec pass been so consistant an so close for so long.. just around the corner for the new owner im tippin.
well done as always.
If you dont mind sharing, what is the 60 foot and mid track mph on VLBOSS? apart from very low and alot hahaha
There is no reason why these cars cant see 7's with that tyre/suspension combination....looking forward to seeing those numbers continue to drop

the last run ever for today was vl boss. it was a straight out 7sec pass, but unfortunetly the shoot held it back after falling out after the 60ft and fully opened the whole way down the track but still ran a 8.5sec pass !!.
Congrats and well done to everyone involved.
Cars certainly making the power all up to setting them up now and make use of it all. 7's just around the corner. Very impressive given what these cars don't have and are managing to reel in the numbers.
VLBOSS is equipped with a powerglide correct?

Not any more, now its equipped with a c4 3speed with a tce converter
The ex-VLGod car is a clutchless manual am I correct?
If so, 8.18 is reasonably quick for a manual VL (understatement!)
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
sorry people i made a mistake on some mph readings, but thats all fixed up now
