need to do some reading my friend. 215i is good for a stocker and can go pretty good but odds are itll would of done afew km's and need a freshen up. for a street cruising motor id go the 215i thats 15yrs+ old but if your planning on going bigger than 450hp id recommend a fresh crank with all the bits just incase Steve Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

From what a few blokes said on here the 215i Harrop cranks arent that good either - I never had one fail but thats not to say they dont. Ive owned two 215i powered Commos and they go ~alright~ a gen3 would smack the absolute piss out of one. If you splash out on a 215i then your probably gonna keep the stock combo intact (otherwise why would u buy one) - personally id rather get one custom made exactly how u want - may cost a bit more but its brand new and how u want it.

I guess it comes down to how much you can buy a 215i engine for and what your budget is. A stock 215i still needs work to produce any sort of decent power

a 215i motor is very hard to find ,stock it wont go anywhere even with a bigger cam its not as powerfull as stroking it urself.. if you wan decent power better to stroke the 304 to a 355. it will cost you more but heaps more power. it all depends on wat ur budget is as said above.
