hey, is a 276 in a standard motor got any lump in it? do ppl have sound clips? also the crow 4651... would it be ok in a standard motor and any sound clips? also whats the normal cam used for stage 2 and 3 in crow cams kits

a 276 won't give you a big idle, but you don't want one if you're not gonna increase compression I've had a 276 in a turbo and blown application and IMO they sound stock. The 284 has a noticable lump but wants 9.2+:1 comp, and a decnt idle comes with something like a 286 which wants 10:1 comp. Don't put a big cam in just for the idle, it will make your car slower than stock and worse on fuel. Do it properly and bump the comp up. cams that come as part of "stage" kits are babies.

haha, nah I'm just joking at what az said. You see people all the time bragging that they have a 'stage 3' or 'stage 5' cam in their car... and really it doesn't mean anything.
