Hey all, Tried to fit walkinshaws on to the back of my VL, its a NA6 so has Drum brakes at the moment, when i put them on, the studs are too short to get a nut on to so i know i need to put longer studs on, but ive been told that i have to use spacers to push the rim out just a couple of mm off the drum?? anyone had this issue i need some urgent advice thanks Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

it's because they are made for disk brakes. look at the back of them they are not flat like drum brake rims
