I want to just play with my rb30 a little, i've been told to do a cam change/lifters and springs. can anyone suggest a cam and lifters / springs too suit. dont want to spend thousands, as im only driving the car for a couple months more, will even consider buying second hand if anyone has something not being used also will a VLT head work on a NA motor with no issues? My VL is N/A Auto, i drive it pretty hard and preffer to have a higher accel then higher top speed.. so any help / suggestions would be great. im very novice to the internals side of things! =/ thanks Ben

get a 4.11 diff ratio then, it will rev a bit harder at 100ks though

you could shave it to give it a higher comp, but it's up to you how far you wanna go. If i was you, 3.9 gears (4.11s if you want) and a 2.25" exhaust with a high flow cat and service it. You could go to a gearbox place and ask them to fiddle around with the internals to shorten shift time etc. but that will be expensive on a N/A

Cause he's probs stuck with the hell that is also known as P plates, so i guess he's tryna stay abit more legal. If he's not on his Ps then he's just insane...

Look up the Crow cam website, they will probably have a chip to go with the specs, go the extractors and buy premium fuel.

yup stupid fooken P plates!!! it will be turboed later but wont be any normal turbo set up. im going big. i didnt think you could chip these ECU's? i already have extractors 2.25" exhaust and only ever use premium. i rang Wade Cams today, to regrind my cam to a 818B it will cost $178 and to machine my lifter blocks its $88 and they couldn't tell me what lifter springs i would need. and i dont know what else i would have to do to the head? valve seals/ rockers/ ect ect ect? im new to the internal side of things.. they also told me that i would have to go aftermarket ECU even though the website says the standard one would be ok. so i got suggested this by someone else http://www.nistune.com/ anyone know a rough price it would cost me to do this.. Cam - $178 lifter blocks - $88 ECU - $462 wat else do i have to do? cheers

Depends on what power you are chasing!!! better get an Oil Pump as the N/A ones aren't all that good after 4500rpm. Definitely do the 4.11 diff gears but if going Turbo later don't go above 3.9's. Get a tune up!!
