Can confirm car did go 8.7 @ 164 mph. Congrats boys, the car was on a mission and launched hard out of the hole. Just to let everyone know, nothing has been taken out of the car to reduce it's weight, everything is still in tact.

Congratulations to the boys at Both Gtech Performance and Preston Automatics. Was a good run but still has more in it, A credit to all the hard work that has gone in it finally has paid itself off, Hopefully it can only get quicker.... Top and 3rd not bad for cars that arnt guttered, Just goes to show these cars are making some serious power...

all i can say is wow. if people now dont beleive that these cars are as fast or can be as fast as vl turbos while still having all the luxury items then they are dead wrong. it seems the motors in the ba turbos have enought torque and power to push the heavyweights to crazy times and not bother them in the slightest. gtech have stuck at it and persisted so big hats off to them for pushing the thing to these awesome times well deserved. seems like it still being fairly new it might go that bit faster yet. goodluck.

his pb of 9.1 was only on Sunday,, so in 5 days it's scrapped .4 of a second of it.. Well done to Dennis and the boys,there ain't no better feeling than seeing all the hard work pay off,and seeing though it was an 'off the trailer' pass on the night,expect faster times to come soon... I even heard it weigh's around the 3800lb range,that weight on its own shows its making around 1200hp.........................I'm sure Dennis will start to put more power in it too now... Darren

Darren It wasn't an off the trailer pass, they had an earlier shake down pass on the night but not taking anything away from this car. Full weight, had power removed from the car, not the best 60ft yet managed to reel in the number. well i guess i said new slicks will do wonders after seeing it run last sunday! glad to see those new white lines on the rear tyres of it last nite! excellent pass and still didnt take off that hard out of the hole too!!! i heard it had still a bit more to come up on boost, but anyway 8.7 is excellent! 164 mph is roughly an 8.2, so lets see how the boys go. Congrats to Gtech and Preston Autos, first ba into the 8's and will go even faster at its next meet. Eased it on the take off and reeled in the time, great tune dennis and now all we need is Carmine in the purple ba to hit the 8's, and that will be real soon.

also well done to the white calais from G TECH drove there , ran 10.2, 10.1 and drove back home and all on pump fuel, NICE

well done boys, fantastic effort, shame i wasnt there but thats tuff, full trim no tubs either...!! imagine it was at wsid...low 8s for sure.
