Hey everyone I thought I'd put my car on here for you to see. Its a 1988 vl calais with a rb25det conversion. I brought the car a week ago from christchurch and its my 1st vl. Plans for the car: fuel pump boost controller front mount vt front brakes ve gts wheels. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey mate yea i do work with Dan how do you know him? Yea it goes prety good ae only on 6psi atm but get up to 12psi soon and should be swet.

nice car lovin the sleeper look, would keep the internationals over VE wheels anyday, but thats just a taste thing.

Welcome saw this on TM looks to be a nice clean VLT If you decide to get some GTS rims I'd be interested in your wheels Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

you will need adjustable suspension if you are getting 20inch ve gts rims and the centre bored out

beause they hit the strut tower on the front,and you will have trouble fitting them on the rear as they are 275/9.5inch wide,i think simon paid $40 a when to bore them out

With 225/30R20s up front you shouldn't need coilovers Nice looking Calais and welcome to CT

ve hsv arnt tho,they are 8inch on the front i think

I read that he wants VE GTS wheels, not VE GTS tyres?? And yes they're 20x8 and around 45p so with the correct tyre they aren't any different to fitting VX-VZ HSV 19s

Factory GTS fitment is 20x8 with 245/35R20, 20x9.5 with 275/30 R20 48mm offset for front and 57mm offset for rear wheels So with a 225/30R20 up front you will be fine. I think the rears could fit with a 255/30R20 and a bit of mucking around with the gaurds and suspension

And yes they're 20x8 and around 45p so with the correct tyre they aren't any different to fitting VX-VZ HSV 19s hey alex, dont wanna hijak this thread or anythin but whats the story with adjusties, how easy are they to get and install?? what sort of price am i looking at? i wanna go a different route and drift spec a vl but everyone tells me its waste of time due to their suspension setup, even if i do shorten shocks lower springs nolaphane bushes and adj pan hard rod i will still get the dreaded body roll and steering snap back. i think drift vl would be sweet tho Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
