So who went to the Nationals today? What did you guys think?

Not as many people entered as I thought there would. 2 yellow vl's only lol. Disappointing none of the big rajab or breciani cars were there. Really if it wasn't for the Maatouks cars I wouldve regretted going. Good seeing some manuals launching better than most of the auto's though lol. Event was ran well imo.

I agree. Was pretty disappointed in the turn out considering the drive it took to get there. There was the obvious stand outs but most where average. Took WAY to long to get things going. I know the rain screwed things but a 1PM start when it was meant to be 11... comon. If that tracker went up one more time I was going to spit it. Either way was a good day. Anyone know what happened to the Citric Acid XR6? That was a bloody loud bang.

Nitrous backfire would be my guess. I missed out, was watching the near fight, then went to get a jumper.

Hope there's a better turnout tomorrow. I'll be heading down for the day. 2hrs each way for me Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

There's a lot of talkers out there that say there gunna but don't. Check the poll the proofs right there. Anyway $80 will see you in to drag today and rip power skids. We should see some better numbers. The event gets started at 11am and it's going to be event after event. Non stop all day till it's finished. From where I am the skys a blue!

I dont think u can blame people for not showing.. in all honesty I was concerned about the weather for this event from the start - just the wrong time of the year IMO. But in saying that having an event is better than not having one, and your right.. Easternats got cancelled and everyone was whinging.. well here's ya nationals! Make the effort! Todays whether is looking promising!

Yeah i went yesterday. Was a good day but i was disapointed there was not some of the more well known rajab and bresciani cars down there. Also getting there at 10:30 and waiting 3 till the first test and tune was killing me, and then finding out that the powercruise wasnt going to be on till sunday. It was abit of a drive for me, but all in all it was worth it. "the fight" lol it was 2 guys arguing, no fight, and everyone was rushing in to see.

im my opinion saturday was a poor turnout and **** racing if it wasnt for 5 or 6 big hp cars there i would have demanded my money back im sure today will be alot better well you would hope so and a bigger turnout it was annoying watching the same cars constanly lining up over and over to run 14"s and 15"s but the highlight in the pits was seeing a biffo i could hear the punches land from 10 meteres away

Haha that was great. People just kept sitting on that fence! It was a letdown for how long we waited to see anything and it wasn't too great at that. It was good meeting a few ct people though.
