Hey guys. Ill be running two amps in my doof doof VL (one sub, one speakers). Is it allright to run a single power cable and split it in boot off to each amp? Also, favourite earthing points on a VL?

yer its called a 12v distribution block. you can split into as many amps as you want, but i would run atleast 4gauge with 2 amps

Done the same in my VL. Used a 4guage block splitter. Runs one into two. Also for the earhing point I used the child restrant block, used for child seats.(just used a 4 guage ring clip & bolted it to the child restrant). Located in the middle underneth the rear parchell shelf. The reason for doing so because I had a back panel which covered the underneth of the parchell shelf and also halfed my boot space, but still looks neat. The panel runs straight down from the back window to the floor, if you know what I mean.

4 guage... ive already got a wiring kit and its 8 guage cause it was jsut for a speaking amp.. then i later aquried a sub and amp. Theyre only relativly small amps... 150rms speaker and 200rms sub, do you think i could get away with using 8 guage? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

you can get away with it but i dont recomend doing it, you can get problems with power shortage and less performance. do it once and do it properly and you wont get any problems.
