We started the day at 17psi and end at 20psi.
the turbo is a modded onehunglow with ext waste gate that starts making respectable boost at around 2700
and it's all in by 3000ish when the convertor lets it all loose, thats probably why we've been torturing the slicks in first and second gear and spinning them 1.5 inches on the rim at each 1/4 launch.

thanks, Yes we had Nistune installed that enabled us to Modify every conceivable ECU parameter to compensate for the changes electronic and mechanical modification in the VL-NA ECU. Once the mech mods are finished we'll install the changes into a our OEM VL ECU.
It's has taken many many many hours of test/tune datalogging the engine to get thus far and the results are almost worth it (as I still like the ease and speed of changing jets). It gets very intense when reprogramming ECU parameters at times to suit the major mech changes to dial in the extra ponies.
Look really, if anyone wants to run 8's low 9's it can be done with anything gutted to 2000lBs & 350HP @ flywheel. I believe the Trap Speed is what counts as you need HP to have the MPH. Not just a low weight to power ratio but there aren't many limitations in Nistune that would prevent a good 1/4 time.
The aim with this car is always to maintain a real *full street* car that idles at 800rpm, is easy to drive in traffic, has a sleeper street exhaust, run's on pump gas (premium preffered), will launch instantly on command (or if the light turns green) and you can throw some extra rubber under and still have a lot of fun with the extra grip.
Though I do love to see a Funny car propel it self from one end to the other in a 5 seconds!!!
