hey guys the transmission in my car is playing up and either wont go into gear when you shift, ie put it into 1st and rev and it wont move, then eventually it will drive, stop, then shift into reverse, wont go in, rev it, will engage then if you back off the throttle and try drive again it looses the gear and just revs? its a fully manualised keas auto, 4 speed. i has just been serviced, havent even done 500kms since it was done, i dont give it a hard time unless at the drags. what do you think? cheers

check the fluid. BT1Gino, assuming you are talking about your falcon, the BTR will feel like its skipping in and out of gear when low on fluid. pretty sure its just low fluid in the converter.

i havent checked it yet cos i havent driven it long enough for it to reach opperating temp (its not my daily). i assume fluid level will be correct cos they would have filled it up during the service? ill obviously have a look at the fluid, but im really worried its something else...

definately low fluid. Although my keas 4 speed is ****ed and its only done 10,000k on a very mild rb30. and its already been back once within warranty to be fixed, due to a one way clutch being installed wrong or something. And the box whines like its got square cut gears, and gear changes from 2nd to 3rd are very sloppy
