im looking for a full system for my first car (05' VZ SV6) which ill be driving in a few months i went down to JB-HIFI the other day and spoke to a guy for about half an hour about what he recommended and what not, this is what we came up with: Pioneer AVHP3150DVD JL Audio C2600 6-inch JL Audio TR690 6x9s Kicker ZX350.4 4ch amp Kicker ZX750.1 mono block amp Kicker DCVR 2x12" boxed subs all up including installation and wires it came to just under $3k, what do you guys reckon/recommend? thanks in advance. seems like good amps there, but l just want to know a bit more about the headunit. Make sure it has more than just bass, treble and midrange equalizers....

I can supply and fit a system that will sound 3 times better for equal or less amount. FOCAL make the best speakers. search it up focal is the best there is no comparison. Go to Garrys Car Radio campbellfield or call ask for james and ill show you what they sound like on the demo boards

Yes thats correct they are certanlly hand made and expensive because quality design and $$$ parts. you pay for quality and clarity

l'm after 6inch speakers, but want the best, loudness, clearness etc etc. Focal seem good? Went down to JB HI Fi and they said JL speakers for like $1100 will do the job and are like 85rms for 6 inch rear speakers for the VL. What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?

FEKVLT dont pay that much, firstly anything jb sell is purchased from the companys in bulk. These companys need to make as much money as possible! so most speakers are made with cheap parts n thats why the quality is not there ie distortion, burnt voice coils ect. However there is a company that simply dont sell rubbish at all. Focal do not use any cheap parts and therefor do not make crap. Im not saying all speakers ase crap or jb dont sell good speakers. As a car audio fitter i swear by the name and wont put anything els in my car. Focal = No crap Alpine= Some crap, Some awsome, Some Adverage Soundstream= Some crap, Some awsome, Some Adverage and so on...

First of all forget Pioneer, they used to good but everything on my pioneer range has failed, go Rockford fosgate, Orion, Alpine, stick with these three and you will never go wrong I'm running in my daily these three brands and it thumps louder than some weekend driver cars. and remember keep it simple stupid....
