News Just Out,
Today the City of Greater Shepparton Council announced that they have unanimously voted to retain the support of the Annual Springnats Car Festival at Shepparton for the next Five Years with a Further Five Year option.
We as organisers are ecstatic and now can move forward on to reastablishing this event to again be one of that that is an icon within the Australian motorsport calendar.
The Springnats is a major part of the now annual Valvoline Autofest Series which also has established events within Mount Gambier SA, Corowa NSW and Murray Bridge SA.
Future plans already consists of providing more viewing areas, better display and merchandise access, more seating and more will follow as we move forward to November 26th, 27th and 28th 2010.
Exciting news for all we are sure so get your accommodation booked and stay tuned at www.autofest.com.au (http://www.autofest.com.au) for future updates.

hey les, hey bec.
from what i hear the showgrounds will be 100% bitumen this year and there are plans for platform seating along the skid pan for better viewing.
also i would say that the viewing / show and shine / entry $$ is a hell of a lot better than easternats.
anyway best of luck with the nats les, i assume you have noticed the loss of someone in particular in the small business and regional development office?
