Hey guys. I just bought a car which needs to get a roadworthy in this state (was registered in SA). It is mechanically sound, i'm just getting a CV boot and two steering rack boots changed before the RWC, everything else is sweet. Does anybody have a recommendation on where to take it in melbourne to get the RWC? The place that i took it to today stuffed me around and basically wanted to do $2000 worth of work to the car to give me the RWC, naturally i told them to have intercourse with farm animals. So anyone got a hookup? located north melbourne but can travel a bit if needed

thanks mate, airport west is close enough for sure. I'm basically looking for someone who won't try to get work out of me for meaningless tiny things wrong with the car, like there is the tiniest bit of play in the front left wheel bearing and the last guy said he would have to rebuild the whole front strut, new shock, new ball joints, new bearings etc etc etc all for about half a millimeter or play in the bearing. I hate mechanics like that. if you could pm me his details that would be awesome!
