Hey guys, on the look out for a few good shops to get gas setup on a vl, soon to be turbo. Or should i stay away from gas when turboing? its cleaner and higher octance, nto to mention cheaper, so it cant be all bad.
its fine for turbo cars and you'll need to ask around depending on whos tuning your car. Do u want the same workshop to install the gas setup and do the tuning?

Yeah i would, assuming the installer would know how to tune a car right? They would have to tune it initially anyway wouldn't they for it to run fine? Then you can take it else where right?

Is flash lube and oil addative or something?

most cars now already have hardened seats and valves so there is no real need to run the flash lube system

plenty of options these days, pretty sure even blownba on these forums will do gas research n ****, but hes a busy busy man!
Have you thought about straight gas. I had a friend with a VH sle 355 stroker on straight gas & gas heads. Man did this thing go!!! Gas has a higher octane than petrol doesn't it?
yes but it isnt quite that simple, the gas vapour doesnt atomise like petrol does so it doesnt remove as much heat from the intake charge or act the same way as a high octane petrol.
