Hello im after a head unit for my vl i only want to spend around $150 i dnt need bluetooth, usb would be good though, would i be best to buy them online, ebay? or what? Thanks heaps

i just got my system and i went with the pioneer it was 250 but marked down to 150 at autob its got the aux and ipod/ usb and changes color pretty sweet

I like the alpine stuff can get a good one with usb in the front (Better then ipod in cos charges your phone while its connected) $150 no worries.

Yeah i'm with WeLLsy on this one better to go a decent apine headunit rather than some crappy sony ****, and by the way best tracks to listen to through your headunit dj deadmau5 yeah boy!

Both Kenwood and Pioneer have their USB units for around the $150 mark. The DEH-2350UB and the KDC-U349R. But for the extra 15-20 bucks you can get a DEH-3350UB or the KDC-U449. Gain extra RCA outputs (sub level control).
