someone tried stealing both my vls last night...im very lucky that both cars won and i still have my pride and joys. the one i had parked on the street the ignition barrel is totally rooted and they snaped the indicator stalk off..only other damage is a small scratch on the door below the drivers door lock. my walky rep is parked on the driveway about three feet from where i sleep, and the rear door was found open but thank god no damage done at all (it has imobilizer and alarm but i had the alarm switched off at the time). i dont have a garage to park them in, but the one parked on the street is getting an alarm asap...P.S letme know anyone selling an ignition barrel with keys in need one.

i had someone try steal mine 2 days ago lol.. hear my alarm goin off and my door was open lol.. they must have legged it, but its funny coz my gear box is buggerd so if they try drive of they will just wake the neighborhood reving the car in reverse lol.. good idea to those in melb's prone theft areas's or anywhere else.. goto **** smith and get a surveillance camera.. cost you 200 bucks i think you get 2 and put it so you can see ya car.. then if worst happens, touch wood you can show it to the cops and chances are they may know the people or have an idea.

got a new barrel and keys on ebay ordered... BUT i cant take off the stupid shroud housing thing that the barrel goes in...need to take that off as when they smashed the barrel forward they chewed the teeth in the lil cog gear that the rod from the barrel slides into...so im gunna have to souce myself a new ignition shroud thingo aswell.

Be very careful with buying locks and stuff on ebay because you give them your address to be able to post it to you. and if it is someone that send you the barrel and keys that is only wanting to steal cars then they will have a key and they know you address...........
