Hey all,
I am scheduled to get married in about a year and i have recently been looking into cars to use for the wedding.
It turns out there isn't a lot on offer except modern limos, Jaguar XJ6's/Mark II's or an old Rolls Royce or two.
What i would ideally like is a tidy/restored V8 classic - Below I've listed some ideas of what i'm looking for!
An American classic/muscle car;
ChevroletImpala
Belair
CadillacEl Dorado
Fleetwood
Deville
Dodge
Charger
Challenger
Ford
Galaxie
Thunderbird
Mustang
Lincoln/Continental
ChryslerValiant
An old Holden of some description;
Statesman
Kingswood
Monaro
Torana
Commodore
I would consider anything similar at this stage as i am really struggling to find anything even close to the above
in the Auckland region. If you have any ideas please post it up
Please let me know if you know of a company in the Auckland region that could possibly help me out!
...Or if you know someone who has such a vehicle that is willing to lend their car and their time for a few hours
next Feb - I would prefer if the owner drove so it's one less thing for me to worry about! I am willing to pay for
their car and time and they will be welcome to join the ceremony etc if they wish.
Any info/help would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
Jason

Cheers Rhys. I will discuss things with the Mrs and see what her thoughts are. How's your Torana coming along? Got any photos of the Stang & any progress pics of the Torry?
Cheers everyone... Keep em coming - the more options the better

Can't remember if i replied to you via email. Anyways, thanks for the offer. We're really looking for a large old American car so we can try and fit the 3 bridesmaids, bride and her old man in with the driver.
But we may yet need to use two smaller cars.
Anyway people if you have anything new to throw at me please do!
P.S. I WILL be heading to Kumeu this weekend in the hope of finding something both me and the Mrs can agree on - oh and someone that is willing to do it for us at such short notice
Thanks in advance,
Jason
