Nice project, hopefully it can be repaired as they aren't common at all. There was a story in SC quite a while ago, one reason they were released was to test the public reaction to the white duco, which obviously went well as some of the late VN SS's were white.
Good luck with the repairs, look forward to seeing the end result.

I think they came on 16" Walky rims didin't they? Bit hard to tell by the pics but it looks like it might have the factory fitted wheels on it. Pretty sure they didn't have VN SS wheels at least.

haha you creative with those chains.. as for being more dedicated than you xD. i just started lookin into it as ide never even heard of a 8 Plus before so i wanted to know for myself interest just as much as to help you out so yeh.. i wouldn't worry to much about what you would charge for it just yet, since if you are restoring it for fun and with plans of making profit back on it then your better off waiting the couple decades or whatever and then lookin into it and asking the right people.

hey mate, awesome to see u found a Plus8 to do up as a project, awesome cars. I just sold my '91 Alpine White VN SS before Xmas and am already regretting it....
check out www.VNSSCLUB.com (http://www.VNSSCLUB.com) - great bunch of blokes on there and they will definitely be able to help you out with any VN SS related questions
your gonne struggle to find any NOS orginal Plus8 decals so I reckon you best bet is to find someone who is able to reproduce a set for you.
also, be prepared to pay top dollar for the VN SS foglights (anywhere from $300-$600 on eBay).
I reckon a freshly repainted set of original VN SS wheels will look f**kin tough on it once its dumped, maybe with some whitewalls (I was running Superlows up front and Ultra-Lows compressed an inch in the rear).
and check out this 8Plus that was at the Melb Cruise4Charity last year:
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
