Hi everyone. Heres the story. My dad bought a vl back in 1988/89 which he ended up giving to me about 10 years later. I drove it for over 6 yrs before it ended up being in 2 accidents in one week was a write off. ;( I sold my dads one only about 5 months ago. to a friends younger bro who i thought was going to fix it up but he put it on ebay and ended up swapping it for a thumpster motorbike and cannot give me any details of who too apart from they were from liverpool and came with a tilt tray. I sold my dads old vl and another one i bought and drove for three years after it bout 5 months ago. And im spewing i sold either If this rings a bell i hope you can try and help me. as i wanna try and buy the car back or if its gettin fixed up see it when its done and maybe one day buy her back. this was it leaving my house Sept/Oct end of last year.. - any help/info would be greatly appreciated.. mate is that original color?????????? havnt seen many of them around, looks like an army color i know my mate had vk army green color was bit duller this one looks better.

dam sore a reply had been made in my email and got so excited!!! thought was some info.. but ah well.. nah mate it is a custom paint job.. car was white/grey with red strip before.. but paint was shagged and i got it painted when i was like 19 (26 now ) ment to be laurel green on amarato silver but the green was mixed a bit wrong. should of been more limeish.. had silver and gold speks throughout. had a front ender and a rear ender too same week.. F*** im spewin, always said i would never sell it.. but had the S***s and someone offered me a tiny amount of cash and said yeah F*** it.. i should of known it was the wrong choice wen i felt horribly sick as it drove off on the tilt tray.. dam..i also sold my other vl which was smik orig manual SL that was my daily driver and bought a vs.. idiot Anyone help me out there....? its a long shot, but maybe call the tow truck company as they may have records of where it was delivered too

thanks mate but he cant even tell me that and thinks it was the guys mate in the tow truck or not sure if they came in the tow truck.. ****in **** go..

yeah i know its bede but he towed it from my house to my mates little bros house and then my mates little bro is the one that sold it to the guy in livo. So different towie used to take it there.. thanks anyway Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I made a calaisturbo account just for you 2drift. Buyer of the the smik orig manual SL here. For what its worth mate, i love that car and treat it like a baby. The rust is even worse now because of how much i wash it lol. Which im getting done soon... Forgot to mention that water gets in to the backseat driver side floor ayy? It was runing hot on the drive home...turns out the water pump and radiator were rooted. Later on i also had to do a timing belt, timing belt tensioner and CAS among a few other things. It was dubbed besser (after a besser block) by my mates because apparently its just a big white brick. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

once you sell a car mate it's gone forever that's why always think twice before letting it go.. hope you do find it though good luck
