have just put a vn injected 5.0l into vl calais, have replaced every sensor and looked everywhere for a problem but, whenever im driving along and go to stop, i push the clutch in and the engine stays revering high until i have stoped, ive heard that it could be a vacume leak but i cant find one.
as above. That is most likely the problem as the auto will try to idle up a bit to compensate for engine load, which you don't have as you're running a manual.
Another issue could be do you have a correct speed signal to the computer?
he man sorry its a bit of topic, but what would it cost to get a workshop to drop in the 5ltr with a little work to get around 250+rwkw mark and everything to go from na rb30 to the 5ltr.

hey didnt cost me that much cuz i did it all myself, the most expensive was the engine and you buy the wiring from V6 conversions all up around 3-4k plus you would want to add another 3k on top to send the engine in and get it fitted out to 250kw but will be well worth it when you are finished with it.

that could be the problem but it only revs high when you push the clutch in when your about to stop, and it gets worse when the engine gets hotter
any ideas ???
