Hey all, Im looking at building a 25/30 setup to put in my calais. I have just a few questions regarding the bottom end. I have an '88 RB30 motor thats been running on lpg that i want to use, just wondering: 1. If the bottom end would be fine for the build? 2. If the gas would affect the bottom end in any way, and 3. if so what i should look out for etc? If they are stupid questions, sorry, pretty new to the idea of building an engine, but at the same time, pretty keen BTW what would be affected on the top end from the LPG if i decide just to turbo and work on the RB30 as is? Thanks in Advanced Donk bump, help the idiot out bump, maybe if this thread can be moved to GAS they might have some answers for me Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

LPG wont make any difference, you migth notice the pistons arent as dark on top as LPG doesnt create the same amout of carbon build up. In the head its normally the valves/seats that are effected but this isnt a problem for all commodors post 86 (Unleaded) as they run hardened valve seats from factory.
