Hello all in CT land..
First all i start buy sayin my names Matt and this is my 1987 vl calais turbo s2
Ive been on this site for a lil while now an i think its about time i posted some pics of my vl.
At the momet i am building it up...dont what the fastest car but still what a lil power there when i put the foot down.
when i bought the car it was white over sliver with a light purple pearl. its not a gen calais turbo its a convert but its not one of those slap on jobs it has all the turbo gear in it.
at the moment its all in bits ive desided to paint it, im going with the new ve purple over silver, it was love at first site when i first sore the colour....well anyways heres somethings ive done to the car.
Things ive done:
-T3/T4 high flow
-front mount
-lowered
-vk calais front an back seats
-diff(3.9's, 28 spline, mini spool) swaped my old car for this diff...i got the better end of the stick haha.
if anyone can help im lookin for vk calais door trims
future plans:
-auto built
-cam,lifters etc
-fuel system(inj, f/pump etc)
-3inch exhaust

the vl on the right is GMVLC back in the days when it was white
And a couple of pics of what i have done so far
had to cut the rear window seal out had rust...like they all do
new window seal
started striping the car
started priming everything
had all bog in it was all pushed in had to re shape it all
i need to update my photos..the car is all in colour atm just needs to be cleared an then comes the fun part or hard part put it all back together
