hey guys are girls, ive just out a turbo motor in my car, genuine a8. including turbo wiring loom, now ive hooked everything up and it wont start, ive got no power to fuel pump, and the ecu lights dont do anythign when i turn the ignition on. i have no idea what it is and its driving me crazy. ive looked in the glovebox area and cant see that it had a factory alarm. it has an after markwt one but that is working fine still. i have lights and everything but i suspect no power to the ecu. car does turn over. any one got any ideas.

there is two plugs on the engine loom, near where the 3 that plug in to the computer are. they dont sound like there connected. or do you have the earths (3) on the rh engine mount??

the 2 plugs near the computer are in. and the 3 earths are bolted to the mount. the engine will crank, but no power to the ecu, i have power to fuses and relays found problem. swaped back to my orig engine loom, and turned key. pump started priming straight away. just need to finish putting loom in now and should be right to start it..

Yep, there is a difference between S1 & S2 looms. There is a thread somewhere with pics to show the difference.
