http://www.motorvatemelbourne.com/ We're holding the 'MOTORVATE MELBOURNE' Public Rally and Car Show together at the Melbourne Show Grounds on Saturday 20th February 2010. It's free to enter your car for display and it's free for the Public to attend. The ANDRA guys have said that they'll invite the Minister for Sport James Merlino plus others to the event. Make sure you're part of the show and spread the word.. We are looking for everyone to bring their Drag Racing vehicles, Street Machines, Street rods or any really cool car including Muscle cars, Sports Compact or Cool Cruiser. There should be enough room for about 500 cars and 20,000 spectators. And the big thing is, it's all FREE! Thanks to Shannnons Car Insurance and all the ANDRA Pro Series Drag Racing Sponsors for helping with this project so it could be FREE for all motor enthusiasts and the public. The Shannons Australian Drag Racing Road show is also part of the 'MOTORVATE MELBOURNE' Public Rally. Make sure you do your bit and encourage the Government to proceed urgently. been seeing a fair few adds on ONE HD for this and things in magazines ect gona b a big day ill b there for sure with bells on

seen drawing of this new track in street machine woot woot imagine that 4 lane racetrack would be the best in australia. make sure everybody musters up as much freinds and cars as possible and shows up to support this cause as the more there is to support this in front of the relevent politicions the better our chances are.

melbourne should be attempting to fill that place on feb 20th and there should be a line of people and cars out the front who couldnt get in because its full in there thatl show those politicions how much interest there is lol

Guys, i have spoken with the official from Andra and the main goal is to fill the whole of showgrounds and have as many cars on display as possible, remember just because its all free, the reason is for Melbourne to become DRAG RACING CAPITAL off the streets also to have a track open every weekend i think will minimize young people wanting to race on our streets and cause deaths and also giving us a better chance to race proffessional more in competition, this track will be backed up 100% by myself and my dad and uncles wheel repair business, we will have our drag car on display along with family friends drag car aswell and my mates cars so any question about wheel repairs on the day come over to our stand, hope to see everyone there as we need as many people backing this as we can to show the government we need this track to happen, and show the government MELBOURNE MEANS BUSINESS :-) Cheers Matty
