i need a good box 4 drift

hey guys my plans are 4 this thing is to have a rebuilt rb turbo motor it will have the usual mods.what gear box will suit unlic highly skilled drifta i herd r33 but i wana keep on budget

With an adaptor plate you can install a ke40 4speed gearbox in. They hold a good few hundred hp. Cheap too.

oh yeah thats a toyota box right and is harnes easy enough 2 adapt 2 box .if all goes well in time. the vl it will have a expensive rotary and r33 irs diff

Yeah Toyota. You often see them out at drift days and stuff. Rotary thats diffrent. I think that will probably be compatiable aswell. As for the irs id be more inclined to maybe have an oversized axle set up like a 9" so the wheels hang out the guards? Interested to see how this go's good luck! Chafe

hmm im sure you could pick up a good r33 box and all you need for just over 1g even mx7 or rb20det gearbox will hold ok

i can do a 720 thats piss but i lost lic ow pigs 10k get my lic bak in july car will be built by then. its not that hard just guts and lots of crak.wil get vid wen car good 2 go

I dont think doing 720s would get you many points in a drift event, getting high on crack and ripping handbrakes on the highway isnt going to get you very far in life.

Haha did he just say he wants an expensive rotary in his VL, a R33 IRS diff but he wants to cheap out on a box when he does 1080 hand breakies. Mate, every thread you make just gets even funnier.

Why don't you by a 5 speed from a Pulsar or Hyundai Excel and be done with it.. convert your vl to front wheel drive and just drive around the track with the handbrake on and Mc Donald's trays under the back wheels... Will be the sickest drift car out!!
