HEY GUYS, I HAVE JUS PUT A DEPOSIT ON THIS CLUBY. FOR THE WORK THAT IS DONE TO IT AND THE OVERAL CONDITION THE PRICE I GOT IT FOR WAS A STEAL! ABIT PARANOID THOUGH AS IT SEEMS FAR TO CHEAP. JUST WONDERING IF ANY1 HAS ANY BACKGROUND INFO ON IT? http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...=736&silo=1011 (http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=7407720&__sid=12353712694F&__Qpb=true&Cr=4&__Ns=pCar_PriceSort_Decimal%7c0%7c%7cpCar_RankSort_Int32%7c1%7c%7cpCar_Make_String%7c0%7c%7cpCar_Model_String%7c0&keywords=&__N=1216%201246%201247%201252%201282%204294965530%204294964634&seot=1&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&trecs=736&silo=1011)

Hey i dont know anything about the car, but somethings just dont add up. Like who would take out VS clubbly seats and put in VP SS seats (that is just dumb). There is more, but i dont want to say anything just incase you get upset (as you have put down a depoist) PS thats my 2 cents worth

Its got the wrong air box and doesn't have a genuine HSV air intake. It also looks like it has a "series 2" badge above the 215i decal on the back.

I've got a better idea Jase http://calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=182481 I'd rather get that something just doesn't look right on that clubby no tags air box is wrong get the Stato sooooo much nicer than the clubby us more features

can i ring holden with the VIN-number and will they be able to verify if it is a hsv build number?

Your best ringing HSV.. the VIN number will come up as a commodore as the cars are factory Holden Commodores then they go through HSV... Things don't add up from me aswell.. Clubsports were single tone, only the Senators had the silver painted parts...

Also the VS Clubsport never came out with the 215i Hydratrak motor in it either only the VS Senators and GTS's... and if this Clubsport somehow did I would be asking more than the price his asking...

Car looks molested. Dont buy it dude. As already said its looks like its a slap together. Why would you get rid of the VS Airbox and put a vn one on? Same with the SS CAI they are the ****est CAI's money can buy! The factory HSV CAI would have done a better job. And the VS HSV's were based on Berlina's aswell. It prob is a genuine Clubby but its prob been involved in an accident and repaired or soemthing. Either that or its a tag job. I wouldnt touch it with 100ft pole.

Now that i think about it you are right. The Senator was the only one with teh darker (berlina) taillights.

I'm going to chuck my 2c in, Senator is based on Calais, Clubby on Exec and Clubby R8 (VT2 on) is on Berlina And back on topic, the car above looks dodgy as others have said, but if the running gears in good nic you can't go wrong for the money hes asking
