CalaisTurbo presents: Feature Cars We want to feature your car! Beginning NOW every month on CT we are going to feature a member's VL. The idea is to highlight the quality cars people here are building all over the country, and give those who've finished their ride a chance to show off a little and tell us all how they did it. Think of it as a magazine write up for the everyman! Your car doesn't have to be a show car or a race track menace, it just has to be built, interesting and ready to show the world. We're looking for genuine VLs that represent what people are up to here - not millionaires who throw money at workshops. It's not a reader's rides buildup thread, this is you showing us that you've done it, and how you went about it - and inspiring others to go and spin those spanners. It'll also give us a chance to tell you how awesome you are and ask all the questions. The emphasis is on good photos and a well written article. PROGMH/Brett - the mastermind behind this plan - has kindly written the first article and provided the photos. This month's feature car is VLT 88/Mark's PROVLT, and you can read the writeup here (http://calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=182410). Please send through your submissions to PROGMH, who will post it to the moderators so we can work out who can do the photos and article at the time, depending on location and limitations. Put 'Feature Car' as the topic and include photos and a brief run down of your project. As said, it doesn't need to be a show car and this is open to all VLs - from neat daily drivers right through to high performance. Between the team we can organise a camera in pretty much all states but any extra help is more than welcome. If you're pretty handy with a camera then feel free to just send in a selection of pictures yourself - if you need a hand, let us know. - OldGold Update - 1. Feature cars will only be VL's until further notice. 2. Not everyone who asks to be featured will get the chance. The moderators will deliberate as to who and when / if someone gets the chance to have a feature.

i know!! when are we going to see the january feature car? hopefully the write up was as good as the last Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It's on the way..... Not a VIC car either, Feb's is in the process of being organised too. Patience is a virtue!

New feature car update - DUF588 for Feb 2010.

wasnt provlt the feature car for december? but then there wasnt for january, so now duf588 is the car for feb but shouldnt it have been for january? im confused.

There is obviously an issue with the Jan car... Yeti said it's not a Vic car so the pics and info are obviously out of PROGMH's control

oh ok, thats fair enough i get it now.

The one we penciled in for January couldnt happen as the car wasn't finished. By the time we realised this and completed DUF588 it was about the 29th of January so no real point having it as the January feature. Hopefully it doesnt happen too often.

Yeah, yeah I know. The problem is booking in owners. I've had two supposed to be happening for the last month but for various reasons the cars aren't ready. GAS747 is now up. More of an update than anything on all of the new changes. Keep the offers of cars coming, if I havn't asked you then ask me! If I dont know about your car then I dont know about it. I'm looking for more.

There's an interesting one coming next month, a car not too many people have seen photo's of. I've got another 1-2 cars lined up but need more. PM me if you've just finished a build or have something that you'd like to present to everyone. Doesn't need to run 10's despite the fact that all feature cars so far have. A neat 12 second daily? An original calais turbo? Show me what you've got. Brett
