Hey all, The following is...that im organizing to set a new world record....This record will be the largest parade of commodores.....This will be for victoria ONLY at the time bein before this parade goes along i need everyone who is willing to take part in this parade as long as you have a commodore and wish to join for every person who wants to take part i will be number 1 if you wish to take part please just add to this number for example: im coming and my mate is coming in his commodore ...so thats 2...please add this number 2 to the previous post so it would be 3.... if you get what i mean....this is just so i dont have to go through every page adding the numbers up i will just go to the end post and see the number and say thats how many should be there and we will start with vic only and see how many numbers we can come up with this parade will be in melbourne we will meet at one location and drive too another location I have also posted on street commodores and just commodores and boost cruising PLEASE ONLY PUT A NUMBER ON ONE OF THE FORUMS example: dont say your coming on here and then post on another forum saying your coming on that one too.....as this will stuff the numbers up when i add the 4 sites together

going to be hard man event locations if there is so many cars. cant see vic police being to happy. you should probz inform them off it. say $1 donation to a charity so they get off ure back

yeah i was thinking that .... with the police well maybe when its closer and if GWR approves it then i will and yes prob will be a $1 donation for a charity but dont know what charity as yet

bigger the charity the more publicity. especially if the record got pulled off. eg. $1 per car

yeah sounds like a plan man keep in mind its vic plates only ok its now a charity thing so it will be a $1 donation per car dont know what charity but will work that out

donate it to the breast cancer foundation?

how about you contact GWR and Vic Police to see if it's possible first then IF it is do the EOI again with actual details like date/ time etc you have massively jumped the gun Plus i've seen pics of your white 'Walky' VL, nobody on here will want to line up behind it Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

make a time a date should make it easyer for people to say yes or no if they no when it is

I have contacted GWR but not the police as yet as they will want a date and time.... your aim is perhaps too specific then as the ones you've listed are makes rather than models: Holden is the make, Commodore is just one model may still be worthwhile to touch base with the police to sound it out with them regardless of dates. They may even potentially offer a green light corridor for an event with very large numbers. Think about aims/objectives/outcomes and make sure you have each sorted out in your mind and on paper taking donations can be tricky, it'd want to be worth everyones (organiser and recipients) while, $1 per car wouldn't be, you'd need $10 minimum imho
