Correct me if im wrong, But you machine your lifter blocks if you get i.e n/a cam reground, then you get lifter blocks machined to suite. Double check with your cam that you dont need heavy duty valve springs.

Not sure how to work it out if you can get an idea of the catalogue, http://www.crowcams.com.au/media/cat...N%20PATROL.pdf (http://www.crowcams.com.au/media/catalogues/41.0%20NISSAN%20PATROL.pdf) Call up outlaws or something let them know what model number cam you have, then ask what model number is the springs to suite. I have a 503txm, and i needed heavy duty valve springs, so i would def say you do. I dont know the reason behind it, so hopefully someone can answer your question, but as far as i know, the lifter blocks only get machine if you do a regrind as i mentioned. Its the cheaper way of going about it without buying a straight out cam like you are. Therefore they dont need to be machined.

I was under the impression you only had to do the lifter blocks for regrinds?
