hey all, Ive got a build thread up on another forum, and seeing as ive got alot of help from guys on here in my other thread i figured why not chuck it up here for all to see. This is my newest project that ive just started. Basically its starting as a 6cly N/A VL Commodore. Exterior wise it will be an exact replica of an original VL Walkinghaw right down to paint colour, wheels and badges. Running gear will be changed to an injected 304 V8 out of a VP Calais V8. Once installed and i save some more money, this will be stroked to a 355 with hopes of seeing 350rwhp once complete. Box is still undecided at this point, either a T700 or 350 ect. Well heres some pics of the VL as it sits, and the VP Calais currently holding the running gear that will be used: pic of the RB30 coming out: rust in the VL: http://www.ihasaids.com/upload/data/1257955447.jpg http://www.ihasaids.com/upload/data/1257961191.jpg http://www.ihasaids.com/upload/data/1257938248.jpg http://www.ihasaids.com/upload/data/1257944887.jpg http://www.ihasaids.com/upload/data/1258025028.jpg http://www.ihasaids.com/upload/data/1258035208.jpg http://www.ihasaids.com/upload/data/1258007511.jpg Got the 304 and T700 out of the VP, what a mission that was haha. Heres some action shots of the day: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Started swapping over the K frames. Heres some quick pics: Here is the VL RB30 6 cly K frame after it came out of the VL first up. The beast lying in wait hahaha And the VP K frame almost ready to go into the VL. In this pic the VP steering rack is still attached, but after the photo we managed to put the VL rack onto the VP K frame, now its just got to go into the car. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
