i did a quick search and couldnt really find exactly what i was looking for i wanna piss off the booster from the bay but not really interested in tryin to pull up at 130mph without a booster so can someone take me through the options and steps that need to be taken to relocate the booster inside the car i found a little bit of info on remote boosters, anyone know how hard these are to hook up and what braking is like with one of them

Maybe PM 88 Chaser, he doesn't have anything in the bay. But I think he said he says tandem masters with no booster, a little bit different.

I built a 355 v8 LJ Torana with VL turbo discs all round and 1 inch turbo master cylinder without a booster in the engine bay. I ran a VH40 remote booster under the drivers side guard for the front wheels only! Was all engineered for road use! Engineer said its ok but may need a second remote booster for the rears VH44 (i know the numbers bigger but its actually a smaller booster?) once the cars actually driveable? I sold it before driving it so cant tell you how it stopped? Booster brand new from PBR was around $340-380? hope this helps.

Most HR Holden's came out with the VH44 fitted. Back in the old days V8 engine swaps in Toranas/HQ's/EH ect ect were common and the use of the VH44 was a must. So it shouldn't be hard to find info on the net about em... O, and I think that should read VH40 for the HR. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Also keen on this............. I was thinking of moving the throttle cable, and trying to fit one behind the firewall. I heard I couldn't do that. These VH40's sound interesting........

Pulling up was always going to be hard! (510hp + 250 NOS) I have a photo of it installed under the guard somewhere? If i can find it ill post it for you, Pretty simple you just make up some brake lines (or get a pro to do it for you because its only brakes pfft) that go from your master cylinder to the appropriate ports in the remote booster then from the booster to your wheels, Run your vacuum hose down to your booster and your done! The brake place you buy it from will explain it for you and also will come with instructions. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
