Hi GasHeads Got a few questions If i spend 6 grand on a fully dedicated gas preformance set-up is it street legal with standard vic roads mods ( intercooler , exhaust ) Will i get defected for haveing a gas system ? . Also has anyone had a problim with the police and liquid injection . And how much power are u pushing with minimal mods such as highflowed turbo , cooler , exhuast , boost Ect Also is there any Enginers involed in the procces ?. im only guessing but gas is more epa friendly so maybe you can have more mods ??? i cant see how the cops could defect you for having liquid injection but ive heard people making more power with it then pump fuel

you wont get a defect with the gas setup, if its dedicated gas, as it's a fuel system, not part of your induction system. even if it isnt epa compliant most cops out there have no idea whats going on when they look at a straight gas setup.

u wont get defected for or epa'd for having a gas system as its just another type of fuel system as mentioned above but there's a big misconception on how the epa view modded lpg cars everyone thinks because lpg is a cleaner fuel the epa just let you off with all the mods yoe want, bullshit ive been through the epa and everything has to be returned to stock exactly the same as a petrol car, the only thing u dont have to comply with is the charcoal cannister if uve taken out your fuel tank if you dont beleive me look at the legislation on the epa website, it has it all there but yer as far as the lpg system itself, it is fine to run

i own a straight gas turbo patrol, and the previous owner got canaried one night, looked over everything and they didnt put anything down for the turbo setup etc, all the got him for were cracked headlights, mudflaps, etc. so as far as getting canaried and epa'd you're probably safe.
