Hey guys
I thought i might just introduce myself i bit more rather than just being a random commenter and popping up everynow and then.
Ive owned my VL for 2 years now , its a manual 5speed RB30e which im keen to upgrade and slap on a turbo one day ive only just painted it a few months back from Holden Red to a Gunmetal Grey with a Slight Blue Pearl , 2 tone with Silver.
Havent done much to the car as much as i dont have a job at the moment but im looking around so i can buy some brand new parts for it!
I also changed the water pump , as the old one rusted out and pretty much fell to bits. Ive had to put in a new exhuast/Cat and Muffler Tip from PitStop which set me back $750 but it had to be done to get the warrent and couldnt look alse were ! Its had lots of rust in the boot , and had to get the boot well cut out and weld a new plater onto it.
I bought it with the wheels it has , and the Group 1 Rear Spolier and Front Bumper

26-11-09, 13:55 GMT+10#13 bugger , saw a mechanic today , told me i needed a new driveshaft
and i believe him since everytime i accelerate a sharp noise [metallic sorta sound :S dont know how to describe] comes from underneath , and when he hoisted it up , it wasnt in too much of a good shape.
so was wondering what should i do ? go to the wreckers ? or something ?!
so suggestions please !!

26-11-09, 14:46 GMT+10#15 New driveshaft sounds pretty radical - not much on 'em that can't be replaced. What do you mean when you say it's not in a good shape?
Wreckers would be a good start for a "new" one. Pick a part is usually pretty good too!
