Hey all me and the missus have just got our selves a V8 Berlina...which is a factory V8... Well it aint the factory motor which is a 304...It has a red 253 in it! It had a blown motor but the guy has put a 253 in it... i will post all the details and pics up when we pick the car up on thursday hopefully.. ... ...UPDATE... Well hello all again...The guy just droped it off...we swapped a 1988 holden astra 1.8L E.F.I with a 5 speed running rough for this clean v8 berlina factory v8!!! Pics of the astra we swapped him Pics of the berlina Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hey man..sorry but not takn the piss.. but why is it every vl u seem to have on this site looks either really tired and gasping for some water. they just dont look healthy, with all the cash u wuda had u should of just bought a clean vl turbo.

wouldnt the 253 engine swap be illegal, coz the year it was produced was before when the VL was produced? looks alright mate needs a bit of TLC and should come up ok Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yeh gunna keep the 253 in it for the time being and then find a 308 that i can do some work to it before i drop it in. a new paint job, dropped on its guts and some nice wheels she'll be sweet. already getting the sound system for it. the interior is immaculate! getting racing seats for the front. missus is pretty happy with it. i'll be doing the engine work, she's doing the rest

UPDATE. Picking up a 5L EFI engine to put in it. Picked up some bucket seats, got the stereo for it and have purchased the paint. Midnight black with a violet pearl over calais silver and airbrushing is going on the bonnet.
