hey guys thought id post up my build for all to see instead of just in the new zealand section. its a 1987 berlina which was prety much all original when i got my hands on it with the underpowered 2 litre and automatic.after having turboed my old vl and wanted something faster i decided to start from scratch and brought another one heres the original psiwpn and the new one i set about building a new engine first here are some of the modifications acl forged pistons billet rods acl race bearings gtr oil pump crank collar port and polished head kelford cams camshaft crow cams valve springs avo adjustable cam gear custom plenum ecotec v6 throtlebody siemens 870cc injectors fuel rail turbosmart fuel pressure regulator turbosmart supersonic bov stainless topmount manifold garrett gt3582r turbo synapse wastegate thats about all the mods that i can think of as for the car ive only just started working on it . the engine bay has all been striped and had any unessasary holes welded up and smothed then coated in voodoo blue which the exterior will be painted also thats about it at this stage the front suspension is all striped out at the moment ready for some new stuff and paint . all going well it should hopefully be going early next year watch this space. cheers hayden

finally got the engine in today . it all went to plan getting it in there then mounted the old trans in to get the engine to sit right it was then when i discovered that the custom plenum was way to high at the front and would not fit under the bonnet.we decided to modify one of the mounts to drop the engine down so after alot of mucking around we finally got it to sit under the bonnet but ohwell at least its all in now. also found that once the weight of the engine was over the front of the car the new suspension is still sitting a bit high for some reason i guess ill just have to wait untill it settles down and go from there. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hey everyone thought it was about time i updated this finally got the car all up and running with the link g4 ecu . its making 290rwkw on only 14psi with wheelspin apparently. once the engines run in ill get it back to the tune shop and turn up the boost and see what it can do. the fuel tanks all in now and im currently working on putting the 9 inch diff in its all bolted in at the moment just awaiting the diff head which im picking up tomorrow . cant wait to test out the new diff . next on the never ending list to do is the trans followed by some decent brakes. hopeing to have the car all finished for powercruise taupo so have alot of work ahead of me. heres some of the latest pics Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
