I'm suprised its taken this long for the story to come out, gotta love how the media hypes the **** out of everything though I also love how they say about the top speed the car can do.... WOW most newer cars can top that i know my vr can probebly get to that (kinda hard to tell with a 220km/h speedo lol)

The 600 horsepower VK Calais that could be super-charged to give it a top speed of about 260km/h had only standard brakes. could be super-charged with nitrous oxide whats that mean lol mite be like mad max's car

just read it in paper again.i would almost gaurantee 99% that the vk would have a brake upgrade no one spend tens of thousands and does not do brakes.its just media stiring the pot

"How would he (the driver) like getting a phone call from police saying his mum had been in a crash? My mum's been out there trying to look for work. "She's already got financial stress - and now this." Inspector Philip Newitt, of the Police Traffic Support Branch, said a man had been arrested and charged following the crash. "We will be alleging that as a result of his driving behaviour, a collision occurred where two people were seriously injured," he said. "Major crash investigators attended the accident and he has been charged with serious criminal offences, including causing harm through dangerous driving." Insp Newitt said police were aware the Calais was "known in car enthusiast circles". "We will be alleging that speed was a factor in the collision," he said. Edit: At the end of the day, the driver of the VK was obviously in the wrong. We should be happy his passenger, and more to the point, the lady of the other car wasn't killed.

Yeah, I know the road..only way I can think of is he must have been tail out, side to side, got speed/momentum, tail swung around 180 degrees and went backwards into oncoming traffic...
